Queen's University Administration Halts Discussions on Retirement Incentives

Despite significant progress being made by a joint Administration/Queen's University Faculty Association Working Group on Retirement Incentives towards developing a one-time retirement incentive and a longer-term Phased Retirement scheme, the University today pulled the plug on further discussions.

The University side of the Working Group conveyed the Administration's message that any movement on retirement incentives were contingent on "other salary mitigation solutions".
