Subject:   Professional Expense Reimbursement


The Collective Agreement between the University and the Queen's University Faculty Association includes a provision for reimbursement of professional expenses incurred by Members of the Faculty, Librarians and Archivists Bargaining Unit (see Article 36.7). It has been the University's practice to make such reimbursements once per fiscal year (May 1-April 30). 

To assist Members who incur some expenses early in the year, the University will henceforth reimburse Professional Expense claims up to two times per year, provided that the first claim is made by October 31, annually.  As a transitional measure, the first claim deadline for the fiscal year 2003 - 2004 will be extended to Friday, November 28, 2003.

All other aspects of the Professional Expense Reimbursement policy/procedure remain unchanged.
