Tentative Collective Agreement Reached by Bargaining Teams

The bargaining teams have reached a tentative Collective Agreement in negotiations between Queen's University and the Queen's University Faculty Association (QUFA). The tentative Collective Agreement is subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees of the University and ratification by the Members of QUFA. The details of these approval and ratification processes are being finalized and will be announced shortly.
The tentative Collective Agreement, if ratified, will run for a three-year term expiring on April 30, 2011. Further details of the tentative Agreement will be released to Members as soon as possible.
The University Administration and QUFA were in negotiations for more than six months while attempting to reach this new Agreement. QUFA represents all 1,250 full-time and part-time faculty, librarians and archivists at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.
