Live streaming of the play She Spreads

In this play, the personal stories of three women speak to larger themes of resource extraction; gender and exploitation; and socio-ecological imbalance.

This play was produced, in part, through the generous support of Queen’s University (The Faculty of Arts and Science Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Indigenization Fund; QUFA; the Departments of Cultural Studies, English, Gender Studies and Global Development Studies and the Dan School of Drama and Music). While this play was originally scheduled to come to Kingston this winter, under shifting pandemic conditions, the artists were able to film the production and create this unique online experience.
