Show Tim’s Workers Some Love, Valentine’s Day Event

This Tuesday February 13th, the OFL and the Fight for $15 and Fairness are calling on us to show our support for Tim Hortons workers by visiting not just one, but several local locations to reach as many workers as we can and let them know that the labour community supports them!

Join one of the planned actions, join more than one, or choose a separate store to visit with a few friends or co-workers:

  1. Noon: 312 Princess st. (Princess/Clergy)
  2. 5pm: Ferry Dock Location (285 Ontario st.)
  3. 5pm: Cataraqui Centre Location
  4. Choose your Own!

These will be short, simple actions. We’ll be delivering a “Valentine” that has a message of solidarity and a list of their workplace rights, which the Ministry of Labour mandates should be posted and visible in every workplace (but which often is not!) We are then inviting supporters to briefly flyer outside the store to passersby and would-be customers to let them know what’s been going on and why we’re doing this.

If you plan on visiting a separate location, wonderful! let us know at KingstonFightfor15@gmail.com and we can arrange to get materials to you!

In Solidarity,
